CAROL ANN WESTON is a professional Christian Educator currently serving as Director of Children and Family Ministries at the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene, TX. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, majoring in Education, and Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas, majoring in Christian Education. She is a “preacher’s kid”, mother of two girls, Grandmommy to two now five awesome young adults and a new Great Grandmommy to one. She is blessed to live no more than a few hours from any of her family. She has worked with all ages, infants through adults, for over 45 years and has been teaching Godly Play for over 29 years. Carol Ann has helped churches in the Rio Grande Valley, Gulf Coast, Hill Country, and West Texas to begin and expand Godly Play. She has 29 years of experience in sharing space with licensed preschools and other church ministries. Carol Ann loves sharing Godly Play in small groups of all ages, in worship, Bible study, nursing homes, and other times in the life of the local church, as well as teaching young children on a regular basis. She has a passion for helping churches, leaders, and families to understand and embrace Godly Play and is available for all aspects of Godly Play training.
