Godly Play Core Training is the recommended training for those leading Godly Play sessions, program administrators, parents/caregivers and clergy. Over the course of three days, participants experience all aspects of the Godly Play method and begin to become fluent in the Godly Play core stories and fundamental practices. Our training will follow an action/reflection model of learning with a mixture of trainer-led presentations and participant storytelling presentations.

The retreat fee includes dinner Friday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, Godly Play training materials, and a certificate of completion for all eligible participants.

SCHEDULE
Official start time for Friday TBA, likely between 3-4 PM. The earlier we can start the better- please indicate your start time availability on the form below.
Friday 1:00 PM (Optional Material Making, additional fee for supplies)
Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM and we will conclude by 8:30. If driving after dark is problematic, please note that on the form and we will assist with transportation.
Saturday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Coffee, lunch, and snacks provided. There will be opportunities for breaks throughout the day, but please plan to remain on campus for the full day. If a period of absence is unavoidable, please make note of your conflict below.
Sunday 11:45 AM - 4:30 PM
All retreat participants are invited to join us for breakfast beginning at 8:30 AM (suggested donation of $5) and worship at 10:30 AM. Lunch will be served following the 10:30 service and training will resume at 12:15 PM.
*Scholarships are available for first time participants through the Godly Play Foundation's Circle of We Training Support Initiative.
