Godly Play practitioners have and are creating stories in the style of Godly Play; stories inspired by Jerome Berryman’s particular approach to storytelling. If these stories are to genuinely be ‘in the style of Godly Play’ what criteria are to be employed in their development? Join with Dr. Cheryl Minor, the Director of the Center for the Theology of Childhood for the Godly Play Foundation for a 90-minute workshop on the best practices and norms needed to create stories that will serve your circles! Dr. Minor has been one of the Consulting editors on the revisions of The Complete Guide to Godly Play, and has most recently been involved in the creation of a series of stories called, "People of Color who Inspire," together with Jerome Berryman. Feel free to bring your ideas for stories to share with the group!
Registration Fee: $35 ($30 for Members)
Trainer: Cheryl Minor
This 90-minute workshop is interactive and will not be recorded.
