Godly Play Core Training is the most comprehensive training for the Godly Play method and theology. This is the recommended training for every adult leading Godly Play sessions, for administrators, and for clergy. Over the course of three days, participants experience all aspects of the Godly Play method and begin to become fluent in the Godly Play core stories and fundamental practices. Additionally, Godly Play's guiding Theology of Childhood is introduced, so participants become more deeply connected to their work. Core Training follows an action/reflection model of learning.
To support each member of the circle, participants are required to be present for the entire training. A Godly Play Foundation participation certificate will be awarded upon completion of training. Missing any part of the training could result in a participant not receiving a certificate.

Prior to the training start date, participants will be asked to complete a couple of tasks to help them get ready. You can expect to spend approximately 1 hour on preparatory reading.

This training offering is open to US-based Godly Play practitioners. If you are outside the US, please connect with your nearest Godly Play Global Association for training offerings.
