About this Training Retreat:

Registration includes all training materials, lunch on Friday and Saturday, as well as snacks and refreshments throughout the weekend. All are invited to participate! Attendance at all three days, and assigned reading (details provided upon registration), are required for certification. However those who do not wish to be certified are welcome to attend as well!

This three day workshop will prepare participants to know and understand the method, theology, and execution of a Godly Play program.  Participants will leave ready to care for the hearts of children by leading Godly Play sessions in many different contexts.

About CORE Training:

Godly Play Core Training is the most comprehensive training for the Godly Play method and theology. This is the recommended training for every adult leading Godly Play sessions, for administrators, and for clergy. Participants experience all aspects of the Godly Play method and begin to become fluent in the Godly Play core stories and fundamental practices. Additionally, Godly Play's guiding Theology of Childhood is introduced, so participants become more deeply connected to their work. Core Training follows an action/reflection model of learning.
