About this CORE Training:

This CORE training in the Southeastern PA region is open to all and includes one online session before the in-person days hosted at Church of the Holy Spirit, Episcopal. A final online check-in session after the training weekend will be optional. 

Online Introduction: Sunday, July 26 (7:00-8:00pm)
The trainer will send reading to prepare before this session. 

At Church of the Holy Spirit:

• Friday, July 31 (6:00-9:00pm)
• Saturday, August 1 (9:00am–6:00pm)
• Sunday, August 2 (1:00–5:30pm)

Godly Play Core Training is the most comprehensive training for the Godly Play method and theology. This is the recommended training for every adult leading Godly Play sessions, for administrators, and for clergy. Participants experience all aspects of the Godly Play method and begin to become fluent in the Godly Play core stories and fundamental practices. Additionally, Godly Play's guiding Theology of Childhood is introduced, so participants become more deeply connected to their work. Core Training follows an action/reflection model of learning.
