Registration begins 5/8/26 and ends 10/1/26.

Registration fee is $125 per individual session or $300 if you register for all three at once. Circle of We Scholarships may also available for individuals who register for and attend all three modules.

Participants from the Diocese of Massachusetts may be eligible for financial suppoprt from the Diocese.

About This Training:

This Commuter CORE Training takes place over 3 Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m ET:

August 22, 2026: Sacred Stories/ Sacred Space and the Environment

September 19, 2026: Parables/ The Spirituality of the Child

October 3, 2026: Liturgical Action Lessons/ Supporting the Circle of Children

Participants should complete a reading of  Teaching Godly Play by Jerome Berryman  in advance of this training.

Godly Play Core Training is the recommended training for those leading Godly Play sessions, program administrators, parents/caregivers and clergy. Over the course of three days, participants experience all aspects of the Godly Play method and begin to become fluent in the Godly Play core stories and fundamental practices. Our training will follow an action/reflection model of learning with a mixture of trainer-led presentations and participant storytelling presentations.
