Required reading: You will need access to required reading for this training.  Please borrow or purchase Teaching Godly Play: How to Mentor the Spiritual Development of Children by Jerome W. Berryman (ISBN: 978-1-60674-048-4) and begin reading prior to training.

About Godly Play Core Training:

Godly Play Core Training is the most comprehensive training for the Godly Play method and theology. This is the recommended training for every adult leading Godly Play sessions, for administrators, and for clergy. Participants experience all aspects of the Godly Play method and begin to become fluent in the Godly Play core stories and fundamental practices. Additionally, Godly Play's guiding Theology of Childhood is introduced, so participants become more deeply connected to their work. Core Training follows an action/reflection model of learning.

To support each member of the circle, participants are required to be present for the entire training. A Godly Play Foundation participation certificate will be awarded upon completion of training. Missing any part of the training could result in a participant not receiving certification.
